Project Management

CRS assigns dedicated project managers to oversee everything from de-installation and FF&E relocation to equipment transport and final clean-up, ensuring the space is ready for its next purpose.

Brief Overview

What is Project Management?

Project management in decommissioning involves the strategic planning, organization, and implementation of comprehensive processes aimed at safely and efficiently retiring a facility or asset from active service. This complex approach requires detailed outline of the project scope, management of various risks linked to the decommissioning process, effective allocation of resources, and careful coordination of numerous activities to ensure a seamless and compliant transition from operation to closure.

The decommissioning process is often quite complex, encompassing a detailed sequence of steps that range from initial planning and thorough risk assessment to precise execution and the final restoration of the site. This intricate procedure demands careful coordination to guarantee that every element is addressed, compliance with safety protocols, and clear communication with all stakeholders.

By considering all these elements, effective project management in decommissioning aims not only to reduce disruption and environmental impact but also to enhance safety, compliance, and transparency, building trust among all parties involved throughout the entire process. This comprehensive approach ensures that decommissioning projects are carried out smoothly and set a benchmark for future initiatives in the field.

Plan

Your designated project manager will devise a strategy to execute your project with maximum efficiency. At this stage, your project manager will also start sourcing labor, liaising with vendors when required, acquiring equipment and tools, and investigating local donation, recycling, and disposal facilities.

Execute

Your project manager will coordinate with the moving team, vendors, suppliers, and donation centers. A walk-through of your space will be conducted to introduce the CRS team and identify the FF&E for disassembly and removal, as well as items for donation, recycling, or disposal.

Complete

Once your project manager has completed the cleanup, we will schedule a walk-through with you or your designated representative to confirm that everything aligns with your expectations. Should you be unable to attend, we can offer photos or videos of the cleared area for your assessment.

What We Do

Decommissioning Done Right

Your project manager will skillfully plan and execute your decommissioning project, overseeing labor, coordinating with vendors, and procuring equipment such as trucks, trailers, and dumpsters. They will connect with charitable organizations, recycling facilities, and disposal sites. The manager will be present on-site during working hours and available by phone and email after hours for any questions or concerns.
